Our primary philosophy is to build and maintain a program that connects kids to nature while having lots of fun! Camp Aponi encourages campers to make lasting friendships while learning about the natural world and taking part in a wide and ever growing range of activities and experiences. Our camp culture is all about respect, sharing, self-pride...and fun.

An inclusive Summer Camp and Conference Center located in the forever wild forests of the Western Adirondack Mountains on Niiohehsà:ne (Beaver Lake). At Unirondack we cherish the uniqueness of each camper. We welcome the nerdy, the creative, the free-spirited, the independent, the flamboyant, the hesitant, the shy, and the self-assured. We are a place of personal safety — a place to flourish. We are a place where silliness is acceptable behavior and fun is joined with learning. Unirondack is not an affinity space. In other words, it is not a space designed for people of any specific identity or experience. Unirondack is a great place for LGBTQ+ youth and their non-LGBTQ+ peers alike. And we love it that way! We think that part of the magic of camp is that our campers come from so many different backgrounds and experiences. That means that youth who come to Unirondack will meet all kinds of people who are different from them. That’s some high-quality fertilizer for social development.

Nestled in the woods on beautiful Leesville Lake lies an award winning summer camp that has served families since 1959. Falcon Camp is widely recognized as Ohio’s premier summer camp. Falcon Camp offers an eye catching lakefront setting, a talented staff and a wide range of activities. Boys and girls ages 6-16 choose daily from a variety of activities such as sailing, horseback riding, tennis, mountain biking, theater, sports, riflery, crafts, nature study and so much more. Daily activities are gender separate with planned coed activities and divided by appropriate age/grade. The non-competitive environment is inviting to campers who may be hesitant to try something new, while the awards system challenges even the most experienced campers. Falcon has a strong reputation for making sure a camper’s first camping experience is positive. The Traditional Camp offers programs in 2, 4, 6, and 8 week sessions. A 1:4 staff/camper ratio insures attention and instruction in each activity. Instruction is given from beginner to advanced in each area and campers are encouraged to try everything before choosing favorites. The Health Center is available 24/7 and the Kitchen serves excellent food with good variety and attention to individual needs. Falcon also offers an exciting one week intro ‘Young Adventure’ program for campers ages 6-10. This unique program is designed with care to guide younger campers towards success in their first great adventure away from home.

Our holiday camps include Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Winter, Spring, and Day Camps. These 1 to 5-day holiday camps include instructions, materials, tasting, and recipes. ALL campers will wear an apron while they cook four recipes per day. Our Summer camps are weekly camps that can be purchased by day for some weeks. These are fun-filled workshops that concentrate on a theme, a 4-course meal, and scrumptious side dishes that accompany the grand feast. These are foods that every child loves….um…adults too!
