What we're all about...

Camp Nashoba North is an overnight camp for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17. Our campers and counselors come from all parts of the U.S. and many countries around the world. We are located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, about 2 hours north of Boston and 40 minutes from Portland, ME. We offer two, three, four, seven and eight week summer sessions for approximately 200 campers as well as a 15 day Discovery Program for first time capers in grade 5 and below. 2 week teen program Summits specializing in leadership and service learning. 15 day intensive riding program for girls 9-13. At our camp you will find a wide array of activities for campers to choose from including tennis, golf, basketball, rock climbing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, waterskiing, swimming, theater, soccer, baseball, horseback riding, wilderness hiking, dance, animal care and a large array of craft areas. As part of our philosophy, we believe it is important to allow the campers to choose their own activities and we offer our campers the opportunity to try new activities in a safe and supportive environment. Our staff is comprised primarily of older collegians who have experience working with children and a proven expertise in their activity area. We have a 3:1 camper to staff ratio.
