Eagle's Landing Day Camp
What we're all about...
It's very simple at Eagle's Landing: we love kids and helping them grow! We pride ourselves on our ability to make sure every camper leaves feeling good about themselves. Every day is a new adventure, whether it's making a new friend, passing the deep water test or creating an amazing project. Our ultimate goal is for each camper to have a safe, incredibly fun summer where every child can make friends, accept challenges and develop self-confidence. Our leadership team is comprised of over 40 certified teachers who share their passion and expertise with our campers. Our program empowers your children to try new things and learn new skills. Through the elective program, campers starting in grade 3 choose the actvities that interest them the most. We would love to meet your family and show you why Eagle's Landing gives your child the opportunity to have new experiences in a caring environment where they create memories that last a lifetime.

What we offer...
Activities
Eagle’s Landing offers a variety of activities to meet the interests and abilities of every camper. Our Fine Arts Program includes our large arts and crafts and ceramics studios, performing arts, creative dramatics, wood shop and both baking and cooking Studios. Our Science and Technology Labs are always popular and the home for our mad science, nature, makerspace, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), electronics, computers, and GoPro cameras. Our 20-acre property is packed with sports fields and courts galore. We offer something for everyone including soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, ga-ga, lacrosse, football, archery, mountain biking, and hockey. Be sure to check out our awesome Ropes Course and 400' Dual Zip Lines! Our world-class Aquatics Program uses the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program taught by certified Water Safety Instructors. Every camper is scheduled at the pools twice each day for both instructional and free swims.
Cost & Sessions

How do we screen staff?
Ratio of campers to staff?
At Eagle’s Landing we focus on keeping our groups small in combination with a mature staff. Children in pre-kindergarten are in groups no larger than 12. Cameprs in second grade and older are in groups no larger than 14. As children grow older the groups remain small with a 1:6 supervision ratio. Campers are grouped based on gender and the grade they are entering next fall. While Counselors in Training (CITs) are working with most groups, they are not counted in our supervision ratios.

Eagle’s Landing provides a hot, nutritious lunch program for all campers. We provide a tasty menu that rotates throughout the summer. A hot entree is available every day and includes healthy, kid-friendly foods.
Our salad bar includes fresh garden salad, fat-free fruit yogurt and fresh fruit. In addition, we have tuna, kosher turkey and Sunbutter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread and whole wheat bagels with cream cheese or dairy-free margarine.

All campers are offered a healthy mid-morning snack.
We offer fresh fruit, ice cream or ices every afternoon.
We are "nut aware" meaning that our food is free of all nut products.
Our food is free of trans-fats and nothing is fried.
We can accomodate most allergies or dietary restrictions.
We celebrate birthdays during lunch with a special treat.
Can parents visit camp?
Yes. We have an open visiting policy and we welcome parents to come and visit our camp! You may visit camp most days between 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 - 3:15 p.m. We ask that parents refrain from visiting on Wednesdays before 12:30 due to our Special Day schedule. We also request that parents visit on days without rain. We use special weather-specific schedules on rainy days for your children's safety. When you arrive at camp, you will be greeted by our security personnel and directed to the office.
When you visit, we ask that you limit your time to 30 minutes per child so as not to disturb the groups. Check our weekly camp newspaper for specific information on visiting.
How do campers communicate with parents?

What's our policy regarding phones and digital devices?
At camp, we’re huge believers in the concept of “unplugging” over the summer – namely, separating our campers (and counselors) from their cell phones and other electronics devices for the 8 weeks of camp. But it’s not just us – every piece of educational research, including recent studies by the American Camp Association, have shown real statistical value in using the summer as a time for our technologically-saturated children to enjoy everything that camp has to offer.
With that in mind, we are enlisting your help in accomplishing this goal. We’re asking that you please remind your children of ELDC’s long standing policy that CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONICS DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT CAMP. Not only does this avoid possibilities like breakage or theft, but it also helps to reinforce our goal of making the summer a time to hone a wide array of interpersonal skills. Keeping cell phones at home also avoids significant privacy issues of campers posting pictures of other campers on social media without their permission.
In order to help maintain the safety and privacy of our campers and staff, campers who bring cell phones or other electronic devices to camp will immediately be asked to return the device to their bag for the remainder of the day. If the device returns to camp, our Division Leaders will take the time to speak with the camper about the importance of leaving it at home and will hand the device back to the camper at the end of the day. If the device is seen for a third time, it will be taken to the offce and a parent or guardian will be asked to pick it up. As a reminder, Eagle's Landing cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or broken devices that are brought into camp in violation of our policies.
