Campers at Lutheridge enjoy Christ-centered community, outstanding counselor leaders who give care and attention to each camper in their cabin group, creative and adventure activities (or specialized opportunities), and an all-around fantastic experience. Lutheridge offers many different programs for all ages, even adults. Each program includes the following activities: Bible Study, swimming, arts and crafts, campfires, field games, creative activities (like scavenger hunts, human board games, etc.). Depending on the program, activities may also include outings to Pisgah National Forest or other outdoor sites (many of which feature rock slides), hiking, rock climbing, rappelling, backpacking, music or drama practice and performance, zip lining, challenge towers, camping out, and much much more! What sets Lutheridge apart is its thorough and extensive training of summer staff who are college-aged counselors. Campers stay in a cabin group averaging 7-8 campers (4 for 1st-2nd graders) with counselors who serve as Christ-like role models and mentors to campers. Campers are sure to grow in their self-confidence, leadership abilities, and faith. Day program available. Retreats & conferences accepted.
