What we're all about...

The American Diabetes Association Camp Carolina Trails is an exciting week of summer fun for boys and girls entering grades 4 to 11. The camp is unique because it is designed specifically for youth with diabetes. Camp Carolina Trails is a program of the American Diabetes Association. The residential camp currently houses 150 youth. Campers are housed in well maintained cabins with adults as chaperones. Experienced personnel including a complete medical and dietary nutrition staff, as well as camp counselors supervise all camp activities. The American Diabetes Association is committed to providing educational information and referral services for children and families with diabetes, advocating for fair and quality treatment of children with diabetes in schools, and increasing federal funding for diabetes research.
